General disclaimer

Richard Knight is a senior consultant at Business Class Asia. This website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice. Information is general in nature and may not apply to your specific circumstances. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Always consult a regulated advisor before making investment decisions.

Fees

Richard is paid through commission on the products arranged and an ongoing fee on the assets managed. These are disclosed in writing, with the amounts that apply to you, in the recommendation and the engagement letter before any product is arranged. Because remuneration is linked to the products arranged and the assets managed, a conflict of interest exists. It is managed by setting out every cost, and what it pays, before you decide anything; you may ask what any recommendation pays at any point.

Custody of client assets

Neither Richard nor Business Class Asia ever holds client assets directly. Assets are held with FCA-regulated platforms or SEC-licensed custodians in the client's name.
