Richard Knight, ACSI

The firm

Business Class Asia.

The regulated firm Richard practises through. What that affiliation means for how the work is run, and what it deliberately does not mean.

Business Class Asia is the wealth-planning practice with offices in Bangkok, Hua Hin and Pattaya where Richard works as a senior consultant. The firm provides the regulatory framework, the back-office infrastructure, the compliance oversight, and the partner network through which client work is executed.

The firm is a member of the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand. Specific regulatory licensing and the relationship with execution partners is documented on the regulatory page.

Richard’s personal practice runs inside this framework. He is paid through commission on the products arranged and an ongoing fee on the assets managed; every cost, and what it pays, is set out in writing before a client decides. Client assets are held in the client’s own name on FCA-regulated platforms or SEC-licensed brokers, never by the practice. The combination, a regulated firm providing infrastructure, an individual advisor providing the relationship, is the model that has emerged across boutique wealth advisory globally.
